About RideSmart

Transportation is care made practical.

RideSmart exists for the person quietly making sure everyone can participate, and for every member whose day depends on that plan working.

Our story

The problem was never a lack of people willing to help.

The problem was turning many caring intentions into one dependable plan. Ride requests arrived in one place, volunteer offers in another, and the final route often lived in a coordinator's head.

The founding idea

What if a coordinator could see every need, every available seat, and every route before Sunday morning?

That question became RideSmart: a product built to support human judgment, not replace it. The product handles the coordination work so the community can keep doing the caring work.

Mission

Make reliable transportation easier for trusted communities to organize.

Less administrative friction. More people able to take part.

Vision

A future where getting there is not what keeps someone out.

Church first, then any community where volunteers help people participate.

Why churches first

A recurring need inside an existing circle of trust.

Churches coordinate transportation for services, youth programs, seniors, appointments, and community events, often with volunteers who already know the people they are serving.

It is the right place to learn what thoughtful ride coordination requires: privacy, coordinator control, recurring events, flexible assignments, and a day-of experience drivers can trust.

Product principles

What RideSmart will not trade away.

1

Coordinator-led

RideSmart suggests. The person who knows the people decides.

2

Privacy-first

Member information exists to coordinate rides, not to fuel advertising.

3

Community-owned

Organizations approve their own volunteers and stay in charge of the plan.

Timeline

Early, focused, and honest about what comes next.

RideSmart is in its founding stage. The next milestone is evidence from real use, not a bigger collection of marketing claims.

The observation

Transportation care is often held together by one coordinator, one spreadsheet, and a lot of follow-up.

The first product

RideSmart connected events, rider needs, approved drivers, assignments, and routes in one system.

The founding stage

The focus now is learning from real church workflows before making broader claims or commitments.

The road ahead

Prove the church-first workflow, then adapt it carefully for other trusted organizations.

Beyond churches

The same barrier appears in many communities.

Expansion comes after the church-first workflow is proven, and each audience will need its own learning.

Churches

Weekly services, youth nights, senior programs, and ministry events.

Schools

Parent volunteers, activities, and recurring student transportation.

Sports clubs

Practices, tournaments, and shared travel across a season.

Nonprofits

Program access and volunteer transportation for community members.

Community groups

Regular gatherings where getting there should not be the barrier.
